The much anticipated game by Sucker Punch Productions, inFAMOUS is now releasing earlier than expected in the U.S. The new street date will be May 26, 2009.
inFAMOUS and Prototype have been closely compared with one another based on a few similarities such as a free roaming world and a lead character with super powers. The release dates falling so close to one another, further fuels the comparisons for gamers undecided in their purchases between the two games.
With inFAMOUS now releasing much earlier than Prototype, it’ll keep the spotlight on Sucker Punch’s game for a little while longer, hopefully helping them benefit in their game’s sales.
